Oral history recording with Hazel de Berg 15 June 1976, c100 minutes, 54 page transcript. Kelly speaks of his family background; his difficulties in relating to the university system as a student; his association with the Speleogical Society; his reasons for studying physics and his work at the National Standards Laboratory; studying in Reading, England; returning to Australia (1961) as a lecturer at the University of New South Wales; and his research work.
