A collection of papers relating to research done for the writing of a biography on the pioneer aviator Lawrence Hargrave including correspondence and annotated typescript draft of the biography, various short papers about Hargrave, records extracted from Hargrave's notebooks, plans, charts and illustrations; material transferred from MS 996 comprising a list of the main items in the four boxes of the Lawrence Hargrave papers held by the National Library (MS 352) and four papers about Hargrave written by Shaw; overall dates 1954-77 [36 cm, MS 5661].
