Holograph letters, receipts and other papers 1777-89 in connection with equipping the fleet for the expedition to the South Seas. Collection of letters, documents and other papers relating to the expedition to the South Seas with "La Boussole" and "L'Astrolabe" 1781-93 and papers concerned with Dumont d'Urville in search of La Perouse. Transcripts of documents from the French National Archives of La Perouse's voyage 1785-8.
