Description

Papers, correspondence, manuscripts, press-cuttings and testimonials including letters from various scientists in Europe and North America; notebooks 1867-74 (4 volumes); letters between Krefft, Henry Parkes and other scientists, and letters to Krefft as Curator of the Australian Museum (contained in the Parkes correspondence, volume 20). Correspondence 1859-81, mainly connected with his work as curator of the Australian Museum. Includes narrative by J.L.G. Krefft of Blandowski's exploring expedition 1857-58.
