Records of Flinders including journals, narratives of his voyages, service papers, technical notes on subjects in which he was particularly interested such as terrestrial magnetism, and a large amount of original correspondence c1791-1814; records of Mrs Flinders consisting mostly of correspondence and including letters from Flinders written during the voyage of the "Investigator" 1801-4 and correspondence with French residents of Mauritius about her husband's affairs, overall dates c1791-1810; records of Professor Sir W. Flinders Petrie consisting of a large amount of biographical material on Flinders c1940-60 [PRG 17, and some material on microfilm].
