Summary

The Department of Environment Regulation was established in 2013 when the Department of Environment and Conservation (2006 - 2013) was dissolved and split, emerging alongside the Department of Parks and Wildlife (DPAW) (2013-2017). The Department of Environment Regulation oversaw research and implementation of policy relating to climate and environmental resources in Western Australia. As the name suggests it also regulated the use of the Western Australian environment.
