Summary

The CSIRO Advisory Council provided advice to the CSIRO Executive on fund allocation, general work of the CSIRO and on investigation and research carried out by CSIRO. The members of the CSIRO executive, chairpersons of each State Committee of the CSIRO and selected specialists sat on the Council until it was dissolved in 1986.
