Summary

Bjarne K Dahl was a Norwegian forester who was passionate about eucalypts, and regarded them as a significant aspect of Australia's natural environment.

Following his death in 1993, his bequest lead to the formal establishment of the Bjarne K Dahl Trust in 2007. The Board of Managing Trustees was appointed in 2009 and the Trust began operations in 2010.

The trust's main aim is to foster appreciation and to strengthen the protection of eucalypts.
