Summary

Hubert Charles Thompson was a foundation member of the Australasian Ornithologists Union (AOU) and an honorary life member. He was an avid ornithological photographer whose work appeared in many publications including Emu and A handbook of the birds of Tasmania. Thompson's interest in birds was life-long.
