Summary

John G. Peake formed Timbrol Ltd in 1925 to manufacture timber preservatives in Sydney. From 1933 they also manufactured xanthates for BHP's flotation unit. In 1957 they merged with Eveready Australia Ltd to form Union Carbide Australia Ltd.
