Roy Woodall has spent his entire working life with Western Mining Corporation, where he has been Director since 1978. He is interested in geology, mineral exploration and earth science research.


Born Perth, Western Australia, 3 November 1930. AO 1981. Educated Universities of Western Australia (BSc (hons) 1953) and California, Berkeley (MSc 1957). Geologist, Western Mining Corporation 1953-61, Assistant Chief Geologist 1962-67, Chief Geologist 1967-68, Exploration Manager 1968-78, Director 1978- .
