Born Austria, 2 March 1904. Died Melbourne, 30 April 1962. Educated Vienna University (PhD 1927, Dipl. of Pharmacy) and University of Adelaide (MSc ca 1941). Research assistant, Vienna for several years. part-owner of a pharmacy, Vienna, micro-analyst, University of Adelaide 1939-42, Monsanto 1942-62 (research chemist, Research Manager, Research Administrator from 1959).
