Summary
Lancelot Bagster was lecturer in chemistry at the University of Queensland 1913-1930 and professor of chemistry 1931-1940. At the time of his death he was Dean of the Faculty of Science.

Born 9 August 1886. Died 14 March 1940. Educated University of Adelaide (BSc 1908, DSc 1920). Government Research Scholar, Department of Chemistry, University of Melbourne 1909-11, industrial experience abroad on behalf of the University of Queensland 1911-13, lecturer in chemistry 1913-30, professor of chemistry 1931-40. President, Queensland Branch, Australian Chemical Institute 1931, president, Chemistry Section, Australian and New Zealand Association for the Advancement of Science 1932.
