Instructor, Princeton University 1958-60, Assistant Professor, University of Washington, Seattle 1960-63, Associate Professor 1963-67, Professor 1967-72, Professor of Mathematics, University of Durham, UK 1972-77, Professorial Fellow in Mathematics, Australian National University 1977-1993. Fellow, Australian Academy of Science 1990.
