Summary

Austin Health is the corporate entity which includes the Austin Hospital, the Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital and the Royal Talbot Rehabilitation Centre. It is a leading teaching hospital and medical research facility. The University of Melbourne's Departments of Medicine, Surgery, Psychiatry, Psychology and Physiotherapy have a base at Austin Health as do other prestigious research bodies. Austin Health's medical and surgical departments are actively involved in research.
