Abstract

Gustav Griffin Schaefer, Physicist, 12-12-1913 - 15-09-2004.
Gus Schaefer, who did pioneering work for various government defence research laboratories over four decades and was considered the doyen of operational research, has died at his home in Port Macquarie in NSW from bronchial pneumonia. He was 90.
