Council minutes 1953-1989; Executive minutes 1983-1989.; records of predecessor or related organizations or campaigns (e.g. Vic. Advisory Council. of Flora & Fauna 1929-1946, Little Desert Campaign 1959-1988); VNPA Newsletter 1953-1973; Journal 1973-1978, Parkwatch 1978-1995; material re Wilson's Promontory (much of it from Ros Garnet); extracts from Govt. Gazettes re flora, fauna, and nature reserves regulations; material re formation of VNPA (inc. printed report of a 1908 public meeting); correspondence, cuttings etc. relating to various deputations, pieces of legislation, conferences, and specific parks and campaigns. First expression of interest had been early 1880s, when Field Naturalist s' Club sought the permanent reservation of Wilson's Promontory.
